Keswick [ pronounced ‘Kezik’ ] is a small town, but offers so much for you to do. It has been a market town since the 13th century and still has a market in the pedestrianised centre every Thursday and Saturday. Whether you want to browse the shops, have a coffee/tea or cold drink in the Market Square, visit the museums and galleries or cruise on Derwentwater, Keswick is a wonderful place for your holiday or short break.
If your desire is to absorb the spectacular, breathtaking scenery which surrounds this small market town on foot, there are innumerable walks starting right outside our front door! We have books, maps and a wealth of knowledge to help you plan your day.
